The first major new programmes initiative of AIMA-CME was to develop and
launch one-of-its-kind PGDITM programme in 1994. It was also the first programme
to be approved by AICTE combining the best of both Management and Information
Technology.
Management qualification like PGDITM is essential for managing technology
based organizations whether in the software devvelopment stream, systems
stream or IT intensive organizations like ITES companies. pGDITM programme
is one of the few programmes of its kind aimed at managing the IT organizations
and IT processes in other organizations. The only other institution offering
a similar programme in Indian is
IIM, Bangalore. Top IT & ITES companies have received the programme
very well as it covers the most essential skill sets required to manage
knowledge and technology intensive operations of today’s organisations.
Eligibility
Graduate from any recognized University and MAT qualified as per AIMA norms.
Admission Procedure
Those short listed on the basis of MAT scores, would be invited for interview,
which will be conducted at AIMA Secretariat, New Delhi and at selected Nodal
Center. Offer letters will be sent to the selected candidates. Candidates
need to purchase AIMA prospectus and admission form. These may be obtained
from AIMA counter or Nodal Centers on payment of Rs.300/- in cash or by post
through a DD of Rs.350/- in favour of “All India Management Association-CME”,
payable at New Delhi.
